Wed, January 18, 2006 - 4:42 PMI don't really know what what the east bay homies are planning on. The general feeling I've got is that we had our fill of the participation through extreme work method of experiencing burning man and want to spend as much time away from our camp as possible instead experiencing as much of what everyone else is doing. I certainly felt like I missed out on most of the event because we were either working on building the camp, working at the camp, or passed out from exhaustion. So, we're probably going to be "Camp Boring and Empty" a place where we can only be found for sleeping and cooking. There has been some talk about building an art car so we can get around to all the cool places but who knows if that will actually happen. -

Wed, January 18, 2006 - 4:54 PMboys and girls...i am out of what was formerly camp stimulation. it was a wonderful experience & i'm glad i got to break my cherry with all of yous. i have 2 camps that i'm considering becoming fully involved in:
1) fringe -- which most of yous all know. they bring dance breaking beats to the playa. if i decide to camp with fringe, it'll most likely be within a satellite camp. fringe camp is TOO huge imo & i will most likely not commit 100%. i don't think i'm ready for that atmosphere completely.
2) junkyard -- name change tbd. highly unlikely any of yous know them. they also bring music to the playa, but much more of a low key scale than fringe...this group consists of 40 or so participants & everyone is super chill, down to earth vibing sorta folks.
if any of yous feel like checking out one of these camps, let me know....i'll try to post things here anyway. all of you are welcome to join in!! i, myself, have not committed fully to either camp. there is also a good chance that my santa barbara friends will be doing their own thang....and i might camp with them. my options are vast & i have to decide where to focus within the next couple months, but one thing for certain....good bye camp stim.

Su, I like your ideas... naked jousting... hmmm... my imagination is not up for visualizing that at the moment but I'm sure it'll be great!
Playa Sports Bar is a really catchy name... I like it :-)
