Hi everyone, wondering how to cover up brand names for my sneakers... I'm planning on bringing two with me, one white Reebook and one black Converse high tops. Don't really want to ruin them for use for after Burning Man by putting permanent markers on them or something like that. Or ripping the names off. How strict is the no brand name restriction? Any thoughts on how to cover up the names that I can undo afterwards?
Thanks,
Jean
Thanks,
Jean

Fri, August 5, 2005 - 9:11 PMSame question, no idea what F-U-R is.
Wearing a T-shirt that says "Nike" or "Starbucks" would be pretty tacky but I don't think I've ever seen anyone covering up sneakers. -

Sat, August 6, 2005 - 10:34 AMOk so you dont need to worry about covering your shoes brand names up. The idea of burning man is not so much about brand names, people know that you need to wear shoes, so i wore my adiddas, and asics, so no worries... Its about being you and who you are and about being comfortable. -
