Re: Grey H2O
Mon, August 15, 2005 - 4:26 PMi googled tri valley surplus in reno to look up drums. no luckie...i found no such thing. perhaps i googled the wrong thing. any guidance would be appreciated.
also, johnny on the spot charges a $60 fee (this is for a 55 gallon barrel), not $20 as indicated in yesterday's meeting. the budget of $70 is pretty much blown with just the p/u. please advise. -

Re: Grey H2O
Mon, August 15, 2005 - 11:03 PMaite...i found out this:
johnny on the spot does deals on the playa so we'll have to flag him down while on the playa. AND it is $60 no matter what size the barrel.
budget allocated for grey water from camp funds = $70
cost break-down:
johnny = $60 + barrel = $30
total cost = $90
minus dano's contribution of $40
total camp cost = $50
puts us $20 under-budget. if there are no objections, i'd like to order the 55 gallon barrel tomorrow.

Re: Grey H2O
Tue, August 16, 2005 - 8:05 AMJust sent an email but, anyone factor that the 5 of us in the RV will not be really contributing much if any grey water? That's already built into our system. -

Re: Grey H2O
Tue, August 16, 2005 - 9:56 PMDear 6:16,
As a personal favour to me, please continue what you have started here. I will be very appreciative. Jersey and I talked tonight and he freely admitted to me over the phone that he is an arse! Actually, his words were, "I'm the biggest arse on planet earth, no wait the universe".
You were doing an awesome job and we need your help. We've agreed that all costs will be camp funded because we need to dump the coffee at the end and also because the RV group will likely need to dump stuff outside (washing hands etc.) - so it's all cool.
Will you please continue? -

Re: Grey H2O
Tue, August 16, 2005 - 10:11 PMThere was also some deal about the early arrival group getting something as well right? Per Josh's comments. Can I / they (Josh) get that? -

Re: ordered 55 gallon barrel
Thu, August 18, 2005 - 12:36 PMThis might be a good way to get the water for the coffee out there. The question is, would that be acceptable per our health permit. That would be a second barrel. -
-
Re: ordered 55 gallon barrel
Thu, August 18, 2005 - 2:48 PMThere are issues surrounding health of barrel, goodness of water, lifting 55g of water (440lbs) and the like. I'm a no-go for a pre-fill. -
-
Re: ordered 55 gallon barrel
Thu, August 18, 2005 - 9:21 PMditto. let's stick to the store bought water.
