ok, bitches. talked to the rug dood today. he wants me to call in everyday to pick up bits & pieces as they are brought in. today, they have nothing...but tomorrow, most likely. unfortunately, i don't have the means to pick up a large amt of carpet. if my bro is around, i can borrow his truck. if anyone has a truck that could possibly be used to pick carpet up please let me know & give me your phone numbers. i might be calling you at a moment's notice to see if we can do a pickup. sorry about that.
also, i how much ft^2 do we need again? 2500?
sanks, come again.
i talk A LOT!

Re: carpet munching
Thu, July 21, 2005 - 7:50 AMif i asked the carpet dood for remnants in a circle, he'd fall to the floor laughing. fyi -- these are remnants and according to dictionary.com:
rem·nant Audio pronunciation of "remnants" ( P ) Pronunciation Key (rmnnt)
n.
1. Something left over; a remainder.
2. A piece of fabric remaining after the rest has been used or sold
we'll have to piece this one together on our own, sorry folks. another thing -- how the fuck are we transporting 2500 sq ft of carpet? the RV has a shit ton of stuff in it. -

Re: carpet munching
Thu, July 21, 2005 - 2:14 PMGood point. Amount of transportation space is fastly becoming my #1 concern. In fact, I'd like to ask everyone going up to please consider taking one of the bar sections. This is no time to be stingy / selfish guys, I think we are going to need every cubic inch. The RV has a storage area underneath that will fit some carpet and the rest can go in the aisle, but I getting very concerned about the bar pieces. Please keep this in mind when planning your packing!
