Tue, July 19, 2005 - 6:53 PMThanks Deb. I love the SF Opera! I'm sure I'll find a ton of costumes I'll like at this sale. I'm hoping to find a Valkyrie costume... not for BM perhaps... I'm still building my costume collection in general.
BTW, does anyone know where I can find some Indian saris and stuff like that? I saw a lot at the Haight Street Fair but I wasn't decided on going to BM at that point and didn't buy any. They had some lovely sheer fabric with sparkly and exotic embroidery and designs and I'm kicking myself now for not getting any. -

Tue, July 19, 2005 - 6:57 PMYa know I saw a place that sold gorgeous Indian saris in Berkeley on University Ave. Sorry, I don't remember the cross street. You might want to check out the Burning Women tribe and ask the ladies.
Jean - what day are you going to the SF Opera? Maybe we can meet up? I was thinking of going on Sunday since I'm "suppose" to be in Sac for a bday shindig. -

Saturday would probably be best as I'm sure the good stuff will probably sell fast. I've seen this post in the costuming and dance tribes I'm with as well so there'll be lots of competition! I'm supposed to go to a BM Virgins Fair in Los Altos on Saturday but I can skip that. I think I'm getting all the info I need from our experienced camp mates and I've already been to BRC. So let me know if Saturday works for you. Anyone else want to come along? I may already be in the city on Saturday so I can meet anyone at the actual place or somewhere else. -
